The Annual Action Plan Meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Jharkhand was convened on 5th May 2025 at the Conference Hall of Divyayan KVK, Ranchi. The meeting was organized under the auspices of ICAR-ATARI, Zone-IV, with the objective of reviewing and finalizing the proposed action plans for the financial year 2025–26.
The session was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries including:

- Dr. Amarendra Singh, Principal Scientist
- Dr. D.V. Singh, Principal Scientist
- Dr. Monorbullah, Principal Scientist
- Dr. Jagannath Oraon, Director Extension Education, BAU Ranchi
During the deliberations, the Senior Scientists and Heads of all 23 KVKs operating in Jharkhand presented their respective Annual Action Plans. These presentations covered thematic areas such as crop production and protection technologies, livestock improvement, horticultural development, natural resource management, capacity building, and extension outreach activities tailored to local agro-climatic needs.
The distinguished panel commended the initiatives proposed and offered constructive feedback to strengthen programmatic effectiveness and grassroots impact. While most action plans received approval, specific suggestions for modifications were provided in alignment with national priorities, regional challenges, and institutional synergies. The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to ensure effective implementation of the approved plans for the holistic development of agriculture and allied sectors in Jharkhand, with a focus on farmer-centric interventions and technological dissemination
