Workshop For Bee-Keepers on Formation of Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO)In collaboration with NABARD, a workshop for Bee-keepers was organised for promotion of forming a FPO for the bee-keepers of Ranchi district, so that they become capable of resolving issues of trader exploitation, exploring new markets, accessing timely credit and quality inputs, and reaping benefits through commitment and collective action. It is to be noted that with the effort of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Divyayan KVK being the POPI (Producer Organization Promoting Institution), A FPO of beekeepers have been formed under the name ‘Vivekananda Madhu Utpadak Swavalambi Sahakari Samiti Limited’. Workshop for Lac Cultivators on Formation of Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO)A workshop for Lac cultivators was also organised on 26th June, 2015, for promotion of forming a FPO for Lac cultivators of Ranchi District so that they can reap the benefits as mentioned above. Around 100 lac cultivators participated in the said workshop. |
