The field demonstration conducted under the dose supervision of scientists is called Front Line Demonstration, as the technologies are demonstrated for the first time by the scientists themselves. before being fed into the main extension system of the State Department of Agriculture. The main objective of CFLD/FLD is to demonstrate newly released crop production and different technologies and its management practices in the farmers’ field under different agroclimatic region and farming situation. During 2024-25, CFLD and FLD programmes were conducted on 18 different crops/technologies/implements like paddy, wheat, niger, green gram, mustard, tomato etc., involving 2366 farmers. Feed back from the involved farmers have been property collected and provided to respective research institutions.
