To commemorate International Women’s Day, a special program was organized at Saher village of
Nagari block with the active participation of around 55 participants from nearby communities. The
objective of the event was to recognize and empower women by acknowledging their indispensable
role in the development of agriculture, society, and family.
Dr. Ajeet Kumar Singh delivered lecture on the vital contributions of women in agriculture. The
participants were sensitized about their roles in sustainable farming, food security, and innovative
practices.. Dr. Vishakha Singh discussed various low cost food processing technologies for earning
livelihood.
Interactive sessions highlighted how empowered women foster healthy families and resilient
communities. Discussions focused on decision-making, education, and women’s leadership in rural
development.
