State Level Seminar

A State Level Seminar on “Harmony of Religion” was  organized on 10th and 11th March on occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The seminar was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Syed Ahmed, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand. On this occasion he said when all religions advocates one thing i.e. God is one and is the Supreme then everybody should respect one another’s religion. He also added that in the democratic country like India one should enjoy his democracy but side by side he should also respect and protect the other’s democracy.

 Many eminent speakers from different religions were invited to speak on different subjects. The seminar had 5 sessions in all and 924 participants from different districts of the Jharkhand participated in the seminar. The list of the speakers are as given below :

Value Education Training for Teachers:

A Value education Training programmer for the Teachers was conducted from 27th to 29th February on occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The objective of the programme was to impart training to the teachers, which will help them to inculcate values in students. Teachers from Angara, Bero, Burmu, Murhu, Tamar, Karra and other Blocks were invited to join the training programme. In all 103 teachers participated in the said training Programme. The training programme was inaugurated on 27th February by Rev. Secretary Maharaj of this Ashrama after the vedic chanting by the Monks of the Ashrama.

The training programme was very much practical class intensive. Each day was having 6 session including yoga and meditation class.

In the valedictory session Smt. Smita Chug, I.A.S. was invited to give away the certificate of participation to the teachers
