The objectives of the National Horticulture Mission
q Doubling horticulture production. q To establish convergence and synergy among various on-going and planned programmes in the field of horticulture development. q To promote the development and dissemination of technologies by blending traditional wisdom and frontier knowledge.
In pursuance of the above goals, the National Horticulture Mission will focus in the areas of horticultural research, development, post harvest management, processing and marketing.
Divyayan KVK has been selected as implementing agency for Ranchi district.
