Title of OFT      :            Increase productivity of Okra by use of mulching in summer season under rain fed condition

Problem Diagnosed    :

i) Irrigation problem in summer season.

ii)  Low yield due to minimum irrigation and low soil moisture at fruiting time in the filed

Technology  Assessed :

T1-        Irrigation problem in non-mulching field (Farmer’s Practice)

T2-        Irrigation + paddy straw mulching

T3-        Irrigation + dry leaf mulching

No. of trials       :            25
