This year one central Kisan Mela and 6 regional Kisan Melas were organised. About 41 different agencies erected their stalls for exhibiting different agricultural inputs and implements. There were 587 exhibits on different crops, vegetables and fruits registered for exhibition and competition.

Thus, Kisan mela and Agricultural exhibition proved a major source of transmitting innovative technologies to the farmers. Kisan Gosthies & Cultural Programmes organised on each day of the fair, were other highlights for attracting large number of farmers.
