Allopathic Rural Health Care Programme The mobile allopathic clinic at Getalsud farm functions every Sunday in the afternoon. Honorary visiting doctors attend the clinic. The patients are provided free medicines also. During the year 7,750 patients were treated and of them 7,069 have been new patients. The unit gets financial support from Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi. |

Immunization Camps: Pulse polio Two camps for immunization of children against Polio were held in the town under govt. supervision about 1,000 children could be administered polio vaccine. |

Mobile Health Camp Our efforts in the field of rural health care and sanitation in the villages received a special impetus due to availability of mobile clinic loaded on a can provided by the ministry of Tribal affairs. Regular medical checkup visit has been undertaken in villages Getalsud, Bandhtoli, Soba and Surid. During these visits besides treatment of patients house visits were also undertaken to check family health and sanitation. Besides the above a special milk distribution, a programme was undertaken to benefit children and mothers for this purpose powder milk was dissolved in water and sweetened by adding sugar 185 mothers and children were benefited in 3 villages special medical camps were also organized at the location of our mobile dispensary at Getalsud on two occasion 8 to 10 specialist from different fields were included in the camp and patients were examined and given medicine. |
