Objectives:
q To fulfill the need to strengthen and further expansion of the Agro-service by adding some more facilities to meet the requirements of the farming community as per need of the economical development activities. q To enhance the productivity and profitability of agriculture, horticulture and other allied produce q To development infrastructure and making available chicks, ducklings, fish seeds, lac brood, heifers in village itself. q To develop scientific temperament in farming community q To ensure livelihood security of the farmers and sustainability of the production system.
One of the major constraints of increasing agricultural production and productivity is the inadequacy of farm power and machinery with the farmers. Due to reduction in the size of the holdings, it is difficult for the farmers to hold the machinery of their own. As a result, the benefits of mechanization had been enjoyed by only a section of the farmers who have large farm holdings. This problem could be solved through agro service centres as they would provide the machinery to these small and medium farmers as and when it was needed. Keeping in mind these facts, addition to the facilities or infrastructure was made to meet the requirement of farming community |
