Block Level Inter VSS (Vivekananda Seva Sangha) Football Tournaments on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebration of Divyayan
Inter VSS Football Tournament was organised for Burmu, Mandar and Kanke Block from 09 September to 12 September, 2018. The tournament was participated by 16 teams representing respective VSS. The Final match of tournament was played on 12 September, 2018. Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of this Ashrama was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Other dignitaries like Sri Manoj Vajpayee, President District Board, Smt. Parvati Devi, Vice President, District Board; Sanjay Patel, Chairman, Burmu Panchayat Samiti also attended and enjoyed the final match. The final match was won by Kulbe VSS and Winners Shield went to them and Runners Up Shield went to Lawagara VSS. Player of both Winner and Runners up team were also given Jersey.
Another inter VSS Football Tournament is being organised for Angara Block from 16 September 2018. The tournament is being participated by 20 teams representing respective VSS of Angara Block. The inaugural ceremony of the tournament was attended by Sri Ramtahal Chaudhury, Hon’ble member of the Parliament along with other dignitaries like Sri Ramkumar Pahan, Hon’ble M.L.A. Sri Sunil Kumar Barnwal, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Chief Minister attended the programme as Special Guest. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the villagers before the commencement of the First match.
